The highlight of my day other than seeing the children playing together this morning is a cooked meal to sit down to. Nothing special really just sausages fried eggs with avocado and toasted granery bread with butter and some black pepper. Being able to share it with my beautiful wife. Makes me feel like the luckiest man alive.

A lovely sunny morning, but there's a noticeable chill in the air. Got up early to do some routine maintenance on one of our old cars. Just replacing the brake discs and pads on the rear. It was decidedly fresh and the first day of October that required finding a coat to wear. The living room has been taken over by our one year old nephew who loves taking things apart. I think we've got a little engineer in the family.
